1898 Niewoehner Barn (New for 2024), 22183 X Ave., Sumner (Fayette County)
Bank barn was built in 1898 with a gambrel-roof addition built in 1927 to house a dairy operation. Original barn has a beautiful stone foundation, and the addition has a clay tile foundation. The barn currently houses a beautiful collection of horse powered machinery. The owner added metal siding to ensure the barn would be maintenance free for years to come. The owner recently added a 60′ tall windmill next to the barn (Preservation Award).
